CHICAGO

Welcome to the Chi

(This place is massive)

I've put this bullet point style blog in order to get a handle on this state-posing-as-a-city behemoth. Unlike places like Philly and Boston that could be tackled in two weeks, it would take a solid two and a half months to fully take in this 77 community immigrant city. Anyone or Anything that suggests you walk is not your friend. It's cold, bruh. Traffic flow is designed to be efficient

The Most important thing to have when visiting this city is

The FLYOVER ride is the first thing you should do

THEE to-Do Activities:

  • Take a Boat Tour: The Chicago River architecture boat tour is a must for stunning skyline views.

  • Drive Lakeshore Drive: breathtaking views of the man-made beach and the city skyline.

  • Visit Navy Pier: Iconic for a reason—rides, dining, and unbeatable views. FLYOVER ride is located here

  • Check Out Street Festivals in the summer: Chicago’s summer festivals are legendary. CLICK HERE

  • Explore Museums: The Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, and the museum of science and industry in high park.

  • Live Music Spots: Kingston Mines for blues, Salt shed for everything, Green mill for jazz. Catch local talent at Martyrs in Lincoln park or Fuller Pub on Mondays.

  • Unique Dining: Try Al’s, Jimmy’s Red Hots, or Johnny’s North Ave for Italian beef. Portillos is not like it used to be. Hit up Joong Boo Korean Market’s food court. Don’t miss Salam, Kabobi, or Nona Kabob for Middle Eastern delights on Kedzie and Montrose, or Napali House on Devon for a taste of Nepal.

  • MALORT SHOT: its a custom. And don't ask me about any "Chocolate shake" at Weiner circle. That's your business.
